「黄金の鎖の詩」
私は、この世界に広がる、慈悲からなる仏の黄金の鎖の輪のひとつ。
この輪を、明るく強くしよう。
生きとし生けるものに親切で優しくあろう。私よりも弱いすべての人を守ろう。
清く美しいことを考え、清く美しい言葉を語り、清く美しい行いをしよう。
なぜならば、私の幸不幸は私が今していることによって決まると、私は知っているのだから。
慈悲からなる仏の黄金の輪っかのひとつひとつが、明るく強く、本当の平和に達しますように。

I am a link in the Buddha's Golden Chain of Love that stretches around the world.
I must keep my link bright and strong.
I will try to be kind and gentle to every living thing and protect all who are weaker than myself.
I will try to think pure and beautiful thoughts, to say pure and beautiful words and to do pure and beautiful deeds, knowing that on what I do now depends my happiness and misery.
May every link in the Buddha's Golden Chain of Love become bright and strong, and may we all attain perfect peace.
